For as long as you carry it.
As whisky takes on years in the cask,
a tool matures alongside the person carrying it.
A KAIRN KYOTO case is made to be handed forward.
The leather gains its shine; the canvas learns your hand. If something along the way asks for attention, we take it in at the atelier in Kyoto.

A few things to know
· Repairs are paid for as they occur. There is no fee in advance
· If a material has been discontinued, we repair with the closest thing in feel
· The change in color and sheen that comes from use, and the small marks it gathers, are the point of this object, not a fault. We leave them as they are
· We do not offer cleaning. The case is built from canvas, core and leather in layers, and washing it costs more than it returns. If a stain has damaged the cloth, that we repair
