One dram beyond the ordinary
A case for a single whisky glass. Cut and sewn in Kyoto.
Where the aroma meets the wild.
Set the aroma free.
For a long time, we carried only the glass that could survive the trip.
What we really wanted, wherever we were, was to meet the aroma as it rises.
Where the wish takes shape.
Made for one glass, and nothing else.
KAIRN KYOTO set out to make one thing: a form shaped for a whisky glass alone.
Three prototypes, stitched by hand. Three more at the atelier in Kyoto. There was never a reason to settle.
With your whisky glass
Wherever you happen to be.
On the road. On the mountain. By the sea. Beside the fire.
The color and the aroma of the whisky, in the glass you always use.
Kickstarter · Spring 2027
Beyond Japan, for the first time.
Until now the case has been made and carried only in Japan. In spring 2027 it opens on Kickstarter — the first time you can take one anywhere else.
Every piece is cut and stitched one at a time at the atelier in Kyoto, so the first run is small. Backers choose first, at a price offered only during the campaign.
One message when the campaign opens. Nothing else.
